306. Wykonanie: Marcin Tarnowski, (M.Tarnowski (talk) 13:39, 21 January 2017 (UTC)) styczeń 2017.

I took blimp66's "sad and silly vocal tune" and pitched shifted it a half step lower, and added danke's synth string pad loop, which i also had to lower the pitch on, all to make the perfect background music to mr. Lima "thethanx" brattleboro's poem "you are what you eat. " i checked off the explicit content box, cuz i'm not sure if the poem is actually appropriate for minors, even though it doesn't really have curse words in it. You decide for yourself. On March 11, 2018, the Marine Band presented a Living History program titled Marine Corps Women’s Reserve Band Tribute. The program told the story of the talented and adventurous women who served our country in a most unique and unprecedented manner. Author of the book Bands of Sisters: U.S. Women’s Military Bands During World War II, Dr. Jill Sullivan served as a guide through the personal accounts of those very women who blazed a trail for many to follow. The Marine Corps Women’s Reserve Band of Camp Lejeune was established under the watch of 'The President’s Own' to support bond drives and was active during World War II from 1943–45. In 1944, the ensemble even sat in for one of the Marine Band’s popular 'Dream Hour' broadcasts, a program that will be reenacted in its entirety as part of this concert. The performance took place in Schlesinger Concert Hall at Northern Virginia Community College in Alexandria, Va. Conducted by Capt. Michelle A. Rakers.

Formatted for use in the makenoise morphagene eurorack module. These live acoustic recordings i made with a sony pcm m10 around my house / farm in thailand. They concentrate on the percussive hits, scrapes, cuts, frogs, insects, water wells, metal farm things, gongs, railings, fans, crushed snail shells, creaks, dogs, drips and clicks. Useful for musique concrete artists. Https://www. Instagram. Com/p/cczmpenh1n0/?igshid=13qsz9itlxntphttps://www. Instagram. Com/p/cfb6blvhexl/?igshid=b35rj1fju85rfor morphagene users, just rename the wav file "mg1" for it to be seen. The wav file can be used in any sampler but you may not see any of the morphagene slice points - so you need to slice manually. I record music as "mudlogger" using buchla easel/200e, serge 4u and eurorack instruments and as "hoan kiem chess team" using ciat lonbarde instruments. Https://mudlogger. Bandcamp. Seamless loop of gaspipe or gasleak hissing continuously. This sound is the actual background noise in the frequency range 1200 to 6800 hz from my randomly generated subhorrorambience1. Wav sample. All frequencies below 1 khz (lowend) and above 8 khz (highend) have been filtered out and the volume has been normalized. I release this sound as cc0. You can do whatever you want with it and don't need to mention my name. Tips & tricks for professional mastering of dark ambient loops:. ~ (range) 1200 - 8000 hz, the highmid area of all sounds. ~ (gate) filtering in and adding subtle noise in this frequency range can addatmosphere or "air" to dark ambience but sound noisy like a tape recording. ~ (filter) filtering out noise in this frequency range can make the bass andlower frequencies (20-1000 hz) in dark ambience sound clearer but more dull. ~ (highend) frequencies above 8 khz should always be filtered out completelyand muted to 0 db, since those are only necessary in music and higher sounds.

Created this excerpt for my film "one thing". Melodic cello is used to create a doleful mood. Very lovely imo. Not a complete piece but a nice sound-bite? mp3. 120bpm. Created in garageband. Feel free to hash it, mash it and trash it. Use it as you wish, with only two conditions:. 1. Don't claim it for yourself by claiming you created it - that's just rude!. 2. If you feel inclined, and it's appropriate for you to do so, please feel free to say something like "credit to max riley tennant for their part in sound used" - or something like that. Or nothing like that. It's ok. I just would like max riley tennant credited too, if you wanted to. Don't bother to credit me. I don't really mind :) and only if you want to :) enjoy!. And if you want to see the short film i created it for: one thing then click here. Please be advised though -it is a potentially challenging subject matter, and i've been interviewed by the police for it already, so don't watch it if films about mortality and the ephemeral nature of life may upset you?.

Japanese version of Auld Lang Syne. Auld Lang Syne is a song written by Scottish poet Robert Burns (1759–1796). This song is well known in many countries in the world, also Japan. In Japan, Auld Lang Syne is well known as it's translated version "蛍の光"(read as "Hotaru no hikari"(means "lights of fireflies") translated by 稲垣千頴(Chikai Inagaki) early Meiji era(1880s). I did my best, but quality is poor. So if you can sing this song and upload ogg file, please substitute the links to this song which embedded in some wikipedia pages to your better version. Software 使用ソフト 超録 http://pino.to/choroku/ for recording 録音用 Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ edit & export ogg file 編集とoggファイルの書き出し用 chord コード進行 C -> G -> Am -> F C -> G -> F -> G -> C C -> G -> C/G -> F C -> G -> F -> G -> C

I had read that some bluegrass musicians tune their guitar strings to dadf#ad because it makes playing that style of music easier. But what does it sound like? this is the sound of each string being plucked and then an "open drop" strum, with no frets held down. It was synthesized using the program 'sox'. If you have a unix machine (gnu/linux, apple macos) with sox installed, you can recreate the sound by running these commands:. Sox -n pluck. Wav synth pluck d2 pluck a2 pluck d3 pluck f#3 pluck a3 pluck d4 \delay 0. 5 1 1. 5 2 2. 5 remix - fade h 0 5 1 norm -1. Sox -n strum. I was super inspired to post here again after an insane coincidence happened!. I was in an online class (thanks, covid) where we were supposed to redo all the sounds and music for an animation we chose. We were encouraged to use sound libraries and freesound. Org. In one classmate's animation, a sound he used seemed very familiar, and then it hit me. . It's my sound! from this site! the crazy part is he has my same first name. But anyway, thank you for taking a look and listen to this sound which is about 2 years old now, heh. I went to this exhibit about electronic and/or audio stuff. In the show they were doing on stage, they brought various tesla coils and things i forgot the name of. I decided to take a video. Within that video, is this sound! feel free to use this sound wherever, however, whenever you want. I ain't uploading on freesound for nothin'. ;d. The only processing i did was cutting out any talking during the raw recording.

Wo ist doch (a cantata) by Dieterich Buxtehude, performed live by self. Soprano/Bass Schönste(r), wo befindst du dich? Bass Du hast mir das Herz genommen, Vielgeliebte! Soprano Ich will kommen, eile fort, erfreue mich! Komm, mein Freund, in meinen Garten!

This sound sample is part of the free collective soundbank "negative mass", which is comprised of around 60 royalty free samples and field recordings used by some of the artists featured in the "new chronologies of sound" collection to compose their sound works. "new chronologies of sound" is a sound art collection that proposes to generate debate on issues related to the ways in which lockdown affected our ways of listening, perception of time and work habits, by developing a collection of sound works based on field recordings, which reflect upon those matters. This artistic research project gathers artists and researchers from all over the globe — agf (de), budhaditya chattopadhyay (in), bj nilsen (se), diana combo (pt), gustavo costa (pt), hugo branco (pt), kyoka (jp), laura romero (es), lawrence english (es), matthew herbert (uk), miguel isaza (co) and natalia valencia zuluaga (co)— encompassing a broad diversity of aesthetics, geographies, processual latitudes and conceptual attitudes, which range from pure field recordings and processed soundscapes down to more musical or compositional uses of found sounds. + info: https://lifeisavicnic. As of this recording, i am the official town troubadour of manchester, ct, usa. I am just putting the finishing touches on an album collecting the various songs i have written for the town in this role. One of the songs mentions the church bells that ring out every day in at the top of the hill in town, so i thought it would be nice to open that song with a field recording of the bells. Every day at noon, center congregational church in manchester, ct, usa plays a full 10 minutes of music. This is a recording of the full 10 minutes as played on december 4th, 2022 - recorded with a zoom h1n, fades added in audacity. It was quite windy and despite my wind sock, there is the occasional audible gust. I was set away from direct traffic sound, but there is ambient traffic sound. There was also a church maintenance truck that slowly drove past me midway through the recording (probably curious at the strange person with the tripod recorder and headphones). I have not attempted to identify the songs in this recording. But if you recognize any, please let me know!.

China’s first official anthem was used in the last months of the Qing dynasty. The anthem was by Bo Tong, a high-ranking officer of the Imperial Guard and Yan Fu, commander of the Qing Navy. Guo Cengxin, Master of Ceremonies, made some minor adjustments and arranged the music. The primary purpose of the anthem was to advocate the Qing Dynasty and create a sense of well-being among the Chinese. The anthem was officially adopted on October 4, 1911, but was used for centuries beforehand in official Qing dynasty functions, going back to when Emperor Kang Xi was crowned in 1675. It’s official use as China’s royal anthem was short-lived, as the Wuchang Uprising, meant to end China’s imperial era, started six days after the anthem was officially adopted. The Republic of China was created on January 1, 1912 and the emperor abdicated on February 12. As such, the anthem did not gain much notoriety in China. “Gong Jin’ou” was made the anthem again in 1917 for 12 days when a former Qing general started a coup and reinstated the Qing Dynasty. Since this was used as a praise to the emperor, this is also a royal anthem. This song was banned in Communist China after 1949, but the ban is now lifted (probably after 1978).

I recently contributed a track to a triple lp set of krautrock cover versions ("head music 2", released by fruits de mer records, december 2020). The song i chose to cover was kraftwerk's "autobahn". If you know the track, you'll know that it uses synthesised traffic sounds alongside recordings of the same. On my version, i achieved these in three ways:. 1) i downloaded some public domain traffic sound effects from elsewhere here on freesound. Org (thanks, guys!). 2) i got in my car with my zoom recorder and made my own recordings of the engine starting, stopping, etc. 3) i made my own sound effects using virtual synths and effects in ableton live 10. This particular sound falls into the third category. Let me stress that while the song "autobahn" is copyrighted, these are isolated sound effects and are not covered by copyright. I'm making them available here under a public domain licence. If you download and use any of these samples, please let me know in the comments what you did with them. It's not compulsory but it would be interesting to know what people did with these sounds.

Hark! The Herald Angels Sing is an English Christmas carol which first appears in its modern form in 1850. The original lyrics are adapted from Charles Wesley's 1739 hymn ""Hark! how all the welkin rings", set it to the same tune as Christ the Lord is Risen Today. George Whitefield altered the opening lyrics to the more familiar "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing", and various others also made small alterations in the following years. In the early 1840s, Felix Mendelssohn wrote "Festgesang", a cantata in celebration of the presumed 400 year anniversary of Johannes Gutenberg's invention of the printing press. The tune to the second part of this piece, "Vaterland, in deinen Gauen", was adapted to fit the revised Wesley lyrics in 1855 by William H. Cummings, assembling the hymn tune into its more-or-less final form. It is performed by the chorus of U.S. Army Band "Pershing's Own", led by Colonel Thomas Rotondi, Jr. (Leader & Commander) and CSM Debra L. McGarity (Command Sergeant Major) c. 2010.

Over 250 public domain sounds curated from freesound and the internet archive. A grab bag of random sounds, could serve as a building block for your music or incidental sounds in a video. All sound info is in each cue point of the main file. Cues that do not have info are part of the group indicated before them. To extract all the sounds, use a sound editor like goldwave to break it up by the cue points. For any internet archive sounds without an address, you just need to search the public domain files for the song/video name. Use this search argument: licenseurl:http*publicdomain* and (name of file here). Since these are public domain, you are not required to give credit for any of the sounds (including this collection). For the sounds curated from freesound, you can thank the artist and/or tell them where you used it by copying and pasting the file number into freesound's search field and it will help you find the file page. Important:if you intend to register a copyright with the government for works you created using public domain sounds, you must indicate them in the application process (limit of claims section) because you cannot copyright public domain sounds.

An excerpt from the song “Au clair de la lune”, originally recorded as a phonautogram on paper. As of May 2009, this is believed to be the oldest recognizable recording of a human voice in existence. According to the remasterers, the lyrics sung are the first lines of the second stanza "Au clair de la lune, Pierrot répondit" (Under the moonlight, Pierrot replied).[1] It has also been reported that the recording contains the beginning of the song, "Au clair de la lune, mon ami Pierrot..." sigil reel 2: percussion. Created by nathan moody, formatted for use in the make noise soundhack morphagene. This is one of two morphagene reels made from one-of-a-kind handmade electro-acoustic instruments and found objects created by sound designer and musician nathan moody, an outgrowth of his 2018 album, "the right side of mystery. ". This reel is focused on percussive, inharmonic content from found objects and one-of-a-kind handmade instruments including metal table tops, perforated steel gongs, stretched springs, steel tubes, a drum made from packing tape, shakers made of tin cat food lids, and much more. They were struck with rubber mallets, carbon fiber rods, drumsticks, and woolen tympani mallets. They were recorded with a variety of microphones (sennheiser mkh50, dpa 4061, audio-technica at4050, shure sm57 and beta 52a), through awtac channel amplifier and neve 511 preamps. The hits are gritty, raw, and harmonically complex often with long decays, holding up well to varispeed manipulation, decay-tail looping, and filtering. Session 1, find more koto in this sound pack. The recorder wasn't optimally placed in the session 1 recording, so sometimes you might hear some low impact noises transitioning through the table to the recorder. Some eq (low cut) should be able to fix this. We went to my friend's father to record a koto, a traditional japanese zither-like (table harp) instrument, consisting of a large wooden base with long strings for plucking. The strings are tuned in the japanese pentatonic scale, allowing a mystic, mysterious, beautiful harmony. It was my first time ever playing this instrument, so don't expect wonders lol. But i tried to "feel" the instrument as well as i could, working from my limited keyboard and guitar playing skills. I improvised simple patterns, and also tried to work with call and response ideas, and bass notes, plucking the low strings with my fingers, and then plucking the high ones with a pick. Happy listening, chopping, and remixing!. In kashiwa, chiba, east of tokyo. Mid october 2016. Zoom h2n stereo ms recording in 96khz, 24bit.

I also open the window near the end and you can hear a few thunders. If there is one man, white western historyhas neglected, it must be james baldwin (1924 - 1987)known to many as writer, novellist, essayistplaywright, poet. . . Surely unknown to all asactivist, as frontfighter, as luchador of theanti-xenophobic anti-discrimination discoursin general & more specific of the north-american'negro'. His father was a slave & as a childat the tender age of 10, he was teased and abusedby 2 new york police officers, an instance of the racistharassment by the nypd that he would experience againas a teenager and document in his essays. Why isn't his history & discours teached at school ?. Anno 2020, i learn to know him & his eloquent rhetoricalcapabilities through the also fenomenal moving & breath-takingperformance of tawiah + myrrh for the refraction festival, takingplace online of course, due to the ever infamous covid-19. . . An audiovisual délice, in which visual artist myrrh, places tawiahin subtle superposition with james baldwin & his 1965 debate with mr. Buckley ! in the cambridge union ! !! ! ! ! while performinglive one of the most delicate concerts i have seen during corona. . . A must see+hear _ _ _ https://www. Youtube. Com/watch?v=h5l2lssdzro. Being totally absorbed by this performance, i discover as an artist myselfone of the reasons i bind so much with this piece of music is that i myselflike to use the same harmonies, apparently, which i did indeed in 2015https://soundcloud. Com/torturado/eternal-void-the-fall-back& in the mid nineties, that is 1990's. . . A long forgotten piece of me, performed that time during my ritcs studies, as my band torturado, no recordings from then helas online, but gracias a la discovery of tawiah+myrrh & james baldwin picked up again what i remembered from that time & made a 2020 version of it. . . A small visual document of this: https://vimeo. Com/450004585. As from the moment, i discovered james baldwin, i integrated also his powerful 1965 debate in my performances during covid times. . . To spread his word ! to inspire others, to confront others. . . I told myself covid or corona is not going to stop me playing & performing music, which comes natural to me, so i looked for ways to perform outside, in plain nature, with batteries. . . Guitars, 9v fx, fx without 9v compartment, battery based amplifiers, battery based kassette walkmans. . . & it is on kassette that i put an edited full version of the james baldwin vs buckley debate of 1965. . . For this exercice of the sound design formation, we had to upload a sound that intrigues, well, james baldwin eloquent voice, litteral & metaphorically inspired & triggered me. . . Also the sound of electro-magnetic technology called tape is something i have always been fond of. . . So i made an edit of an edit of the james baldwin debate of +- 10 minutes !. Spread the word !a+. Actually this could also serve the exercice of recording a sound that comes from a certain place, or is part of a bigger thing , or personificates a certain place. . .

This 6:17 minute cut from a 25:00 piv (penis in vagina) sex session that features loud doggystyle sexual intercourse between two young consenting adults. Recorded in september 2016 in a california dorm room: female is asian, 19 y. O. , male is white, 21 y. O. Both are rather slender, and have already had orgasms from oral sex. The slapping sound is made from the male's lower abdomen and testicles rhythmically striking the female's bum during rapid penetration -- the female is kneeling on the edge of a bed and the male is standing on the floor. There is no artificial birth control used -- the couple uses "natural family planning" meaning sex occurs only during infertile times of the female's ovulation cycle. Despite the loud sound of flesh slapping together, the couple is actually very slender -- the recording is natural with no effort to "act out" and there is a slight background music: classical. The parts edited out to make this 6:17 cut were aspects of piv sex that was too quiet to hear -- other sexual positions, i. E. , the female lying face-down with her stomach touching the bed, male atop, were at a much slower tempo so as to be nearly silent.

This is the soundscape i've recorded in my neighboorhood of cidade tiradentes, a district from são paulo, brazil. We name these events as pancadão (big punch) or fluxo (flow). When a flow occurs, you know that the sound is very high and it invades all surroundings. It happened in april 4, 2021, during our worst period in the the global covid-19 pandemic. Plent of people, vehicles, multiple speakers and so on in a street. I'm writing in the exact moment police came to repress, but in my conclusion only education can solve city problems, not repression, not paliative atitudes. I think this is interesting to share it here, as a cultural manifestation, showing that when the state fails, everyone fails. This is disrespectful at all, but i try to look it as a construction of city. In a country where its president goes for a for a swim at a crowded beach amid 200 thousand pandemic deaths, how can i criticize suburban people?. I'm not conservative, i like the kind of music playing known as"brazilian funk" or "funk carioca", this is our culture, even if i do not participate actively. Plot twist: i was working in a asmr video. *-*. Recorded in mp3 320 kbps, using a zoom h1n and compressed in ableton live to bring on the dynamics.

In front of my desk in my room is a wood paneled wall with a cubbie. It's about a foot wide, 10 inches from top to bottom and maybe 7 inches deep. I'm just guessing. Around this cubbie is a border of wood. In the bottom right corner under the border i have jammed one end of an elastic string that used to have glitter on it. It's from a christmas box of chocolates my uncle sent me last year. I stand in front of this cubbie whose bottom is at chin height, (i'm only 5ft1in) so my arms are above my head as i pull this string across the cubbie up and to the left to the border on the top which acts as my only fret. The string is a few inches longer than the cubbie is wide, but when i pull it it gets longer so my hand is 3/4 along it's length as i pull back and forth across the border to tighten and loosen the string. No matter how hard i pull it never pops loose from it's mooring. This time the mic is sitting in the cubby so i get a much clearer and louder sound. When i stretch the string across the top it has a fairly long sustain, so i can play 4 notes on a single pluck.

This sound is a superposition of two records. First, i recorded a coffee machine and cut it to extract just the sound of the money that falls in. Then, i recorded the sound of keys and mix it together on audacity. I wanted to make a sound that can be repeated in a loop. So, i copied the record of the coffee machine to give a rhythm to the sound. I tried to cut the sound of the key perfectly to make a loop with the help of the option “search for crosses with zero”. Then, i added view effects. I have changed the amplification in purpose to bring out more the sound of the coffee machine. I also change the reverberation. Gradually, my sound made me think of a music in a video game that i used to play, rayman. It was difficult to describe what the sound was like, but i liked the atmosphere, so i kept it. Then, a friend told me it made him think of a frog noise, and i liked the idea.

So one of tac0's friends came by with a civilian style contact stun gun and tac0 does what he does best, blasts it a small room for 1/10 of a second. Mp3 48,000 hz at 256 kbps. Also commonly and incorrectly referred to as a "taser" which is on the same level as calling a magazine a "clip". See google for more info. I can't help that it sounds like a bee. Also if it's too short, you'll have to make it longer in your daw. Uses (apart from videos that involve a stun gun or maybe a real taser brand taser): magic lighting zaps? a game show buzzer?. Possible vst modifications. Reverb: sound impulses for speakers. Distortion (guitar style): military style radio noise. Chorus/flange: science sounding things. Pitch: at -30 semitones you get some low pitched sound similar to a airsoft aeg which may be ideal for montage airsoft videos where piles of tokyo marui m4s traditionally muffled by the gopro waterproof case. // at -45 semitones you resemble gun fire at a distance. Mathematically at 10 rps (600 rpm) you could use this as a sit in for a distant fired ak-47 rifle ideal for video games, war movies, mods, etc. Apply a resonant filter and some reverb for appropriate outdoor acoustics. And nobody will know your distant machine gun sound was a civilian stun gun except for us semi colon right parenthesis. Or you could also apply ringmod at ~9000 hz to simulate ear ringing for those ptsd scenes. Trimming + looping + pitch: if you can loop this properly in a daw you could even create a saw style bass for electronic dance music.

A recording of the peaceful mid-autumn woods here in the midwest usa. I recorded this on november 15 2022 using a sony pcm d-100. In the northern hemisphere now, days now are much shorter, and much colder. Which means all of our energetic summer warblers and other migrants have long gone south, and are no doubt lounging around in a palm tree or something just gorging on insects. Here is the midwest woods? sure the summer birds are gone, but, the beauty of this season is that now you can hear the birds that never leave us. No matter how brutal the winter is, the blue jays, the black-capped chickadees, the many species of woodpeckers and the belted kingfishers never leave. This creates a different, but beautiful soundscape in the woods. For this particular recording, since i've found through years of roaming the woods, birds have a tendancy to be near water, i placed the recorder on a creekbank about 15 feet from a shallow creek. Now of course i could have gotten closer to the creek but by now the entire woods is a carpet of leaves -- this very slow-moving creek included. Which means the leaves had accumulated on thevery still creek water itself and i was concerned if i stepped on the leaves--thinking it was solid ground underneath, i would instead be "treated" to an ice cold pair of shoes and socks!. Among the highlights of this recording are:00:00:00 starting off with the loud blue jays1:56 black-capped chickadees with their active musical trills3:55 the very large and very loud pileated woodpeckers8:41--8:56 then again starting at 10:05 and running through10:40 the beautiful belted kingfisher with it's staccato-likerasp. Enjoy this beautiful mid autumn woods soundscape in the midwest usa.
